Tiny ric rac roses for accessories

I wanted to try to make a ric rac rose but I didn't have Jumbo ric rac ribbon (yet!)... so I decided to try with the small one that I had and find out that that it came out really cute!

All you need is
- 6" or 7" of small ric rac ribbon
- 1 pair of scissors
- some glue dots...

Isn't it cute?!

 Fold you ribbon in half and put a glue dot in the middle.
You can also start with 2 length and glue them to start.

Start interlacing the ribbon like a braid.

You will end with this, it's ok if it twist a bit!

Then add a glue dot and start to roll it,

add glue dot each time you feel that it need to be hold.

At the end keep a small piece; add a glue dot at the bottom and close it.

Now you have tiny roses to embellish any accessories or scrapbook need!

Cardmaking techniques

There is so many different cardmaking techniques ; I love discovering and trying them all!

Here is a card I made with 2 techniques by Gina K Designs that I saw on Stamp tv (This is one of my favorite sites to learn new techniques):

- Distressed embossed patterned paper
and
- Coloring with gamsol (I love this product!)

I finally used one of my old stamp! It's funny how sometimes you buy something because you find it pretty but never have a chance to use it!...
Do your spring cleaning and use those old supplies and stamps that you've stored for a long time!...

Asian travel !
