Love Birds

During a visit at Michaels, these little birdies called me!
They are like paper macher (craft paper) bird shape; and there is also butterflies and fruits.
I immediately imagine them with some music scores on them!
I was too impatient to start my project and forgot to take a picture of the supplies!
So, you'll need:
- some paper macher shape
- white and black acrylic paint
- modpodge
- paper napkin with music score or old music sheet
- foam paintbrush
- varnish
- embellishments

First paint your bird (or other shape) with one or 2 layers of white paint

 While the paint dry, tear some pieces of your paper

When the paint is dry, start to glue your pieces on the bird

Cover the whole bird with your paper...

 Add a layer of modpodge and let it dry.

When it's dry apply some black paint on the beak and the wing

 let it dry

Here is a detail of the painting

Apply one or 2 layers of varnish

Grab some embellishments and have fun!

 Here I've added a black ribbon around their neck, a white feather cut in half , a little rose

and some black half pearl on the eyes

 

 and a silver pearl on the ribbon

 They will make a lovely decoration for a wedding or a romantic living room!

March National craft month: Last day!

A Thank You to All Blog Party...

This month was fun, challenging and full of discoveries.
I took the challenge to share as many projects and ideas as I could.
I discovered many great blogs with wonderful ideas.
I created more this month and learned new techniques.
I also did a giveaway and won one!

Now that the month is over, I am not sure if I will continue or not to blog as much.
It's not easy to find what your real purpose is!
As spring will show up more and more, I might take this opportunity to appreciate mother nature;
For me, This is a bliss to share my Love with Nature; It's also here that I connect myself and found inspirations:

Creativity...

For all of us that love to create; did you learn that at school? I don’t think so!

Creativity is YOUR way to connect to the great Universe. In any way it gives you a pleasure, a well being.


Everything that you create, you feel something about it; it’s because it’s related to a specific energy that you received when you created your art.


The more we create, the more we need to! ‘Cause it create this energetic connection.


Everybody is creative; we are creative being; didn’t you remember when you were young drawing or building just because? By the time we started school, creativity is put at the last thing that you can do; just only few minutes a week! And if we want to plan a career in the Art all the answers are you cannot live as an artist! Why? Because the society is build like that! Unfortunately!


I dream that Creativity would be included in the everyday living like any task you do as a routine! Creativity is like a meditation for some of us and it’s also a great way to progress in our spiritual life.


Let your kids be creative; let yourself be in your creative Vortex…
