This is a fun project to do with a cheap wooden box and some scrapbook paper and embellishments...
Paint your box in a color that matches your paper (I like to unmount the opening system)
Cut your paper a few inches less than the size of each side.
Ink them (if you like to!)
Glue them on; I used modpodge and a brayer for this step to get my paper smooth and perfectly glued.
Then decorate your box as you like.
