The very first time I saw a yarn wreath was on Etsy in this fabulous shop.
Then I saw more and more on blog party and realized that I had everything in stock to make one;
So I am sorry if it's one more for you but here is mine!...
The answer is...Yes I had just enough yarn to finish wrapping around; I was really lucky! Not an inch more, just enough!
Now I needed to find some embellishments;
I had these pretty little crochet flowers (from this shop on Etsy, yes again!); it was one possibility but I wanted some felt flowers.
So I made few felted flowers (here is a great video tutorial) and leaves.
To secured and embellished the center of the flowers, I added some pins with colored heads and finally found a little birdie for the final touch:

As I am not a knitter, I didn't know how much yarn I needed and I had only one ball of yarn in a specific color!
I finally chose to use the eggshell yarn to wrap it around my Styrofoam wreath.
Will I have enough yarn?...
It's a long process (you need to be patient!), it took me 1h30 for only wrapping it around and as it's a repetitive movement, it woke my tendinitis a bit...
